II Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the
faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.

A Commendation at the Time of Death
Depart, O Christian Soul, out of this world; In the Name of the Father
Almighty who created you; In the Name of Jesus Christ who redeemed
you; In the Name of the Holy Spirit who sanctifies you. May your rest be
this day in peace, and your dwelling place in the Paradise of God.

Alleluia, Alleluia
With the Saints give rest, O Christ, to the souls of Thy servants, where
there is neither sickness, nor sorrow, nor sighing, but life everlasting.
Thou only art immortal, who hast created and fashioned man. For out of
the earth were we mortals made, and unto the earth shall we return again,
as Thou didst command when Thou madest man, saying unto me: For
earth thou art, and unto the earth shall thou return. Whether, also, all we
mortals wend our way, making of our funeral dirge the song: Alleluia,
Alleluia, Alleluia.

Among the Spirits of the Righteous
Among the spirits of the righteous perfected in faith, give rest, O Savior,
to the soul of Your servant. Bestow upon it the blessed life which is from
You, O loving Lord. Within Your peace, O Lord, where all Your Saints
repose, give rest also to the soul of Your servant, for You alone are
Immortal. Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. O Savior,
You are our God who descended into Hades and delivered from suffering
those who were bound there. Grant rest also to the soul of Your servant.
Now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.
